A very similar Anatolian rug fragment has been published by Denny, Walter B. in The Classical Tradition in Anatolian Carpets, The Textile Museum, Washington, (2002), no. 52. The published piece, described as “double-ended triple-arch derivative rug fragment” is lacking the border. The lacking border might have been similar to the here exposed example.
