An antique Ladik prayer rug that displays the typical panel with stylized tulip flowers on the lower half of the alongated prayer rug. The tulip flower was highly appreciated by the Ottoman dynasty since the late 15th ct. The turquoise colored panel above the mihrab is decorated with archaic and powerful ornaments. Especially attractive is the yellow ground main border. Collector’s piece.
