Exhibition of antique rugs in our former gallery
Expositions in our former gallery 2005 -2014
Prior to the location in Via Cellini, Milano, from the year 2005 -2014 the gallery Parvizyar was located in another historical building of Milan. The images show some antique piece of the Parvizyar gallery, exposed in its vast inner spaces. The pieces reflect very well the large scale of stock represented by many different provenances and styles. The Caucasian pieces are represented by a Karacioph Kazak rug, a Celaberd medaillon rug, a rare red background Perepedil rug and a gorgeous, elegantly drawn Kuba Harshang. Among the Persian pieces can be noticed two Heriz silk rugs, some Serapy carpets, two typically pastel colored Tabriz Hadji Jallili carpets and a rare and impressive Bidjar Garus long rug. An archaic Karapinar long rug represents the anatolian section. A Ningshia pillar rug, first half 19th ct. dominates the displayed Chinese carpets. Some Persian flatweaves in minimalist style are accosted to an antique embroidered Suzani textile.
