A Fakhralo prayer rug showing the classical design feature of the antique Fakhralo prayer rugs. Especially attractive are the so-called “crab-designs” that circumstand the “mihrab”, a design that mostlikely is based on stylized palmett motifs and not on zoomorphic origins.
