The Tefzet carpet manufactury was found in 1921 at Leipzig, Germany. A machine made weaving technique was applied to create attractive woolen carpets with antique carpet patterns, mainly influenced by persian or anatolian museum pieces. This piece reproduces a “Transilvanian” carpet design (Anatolia) from the 17th ct.
