A Tabriz masterpiece with very fine weaving, beautiful well balanced colors, among them soft shades of green and a very sophisticated and precisely drawn pattern. Pieces of outstanding quality usually are attributed to the masterweaver Hadji Jallili, but the pieces of his workshop differ slightly in color, character and design. This consideration suggests the hand of a different masterweaver’s workshop, probably Hadji Genji.
