The yellow background rug is finely knotted on a base with multi color silk warps.  The rug shows an interesting and rare combination of ornaments. Classical “Herati”-pattern is combined with tribal ornamental features. Among them stylized “hand of Fatima”, symbols of protection and  archaic ornaments. Especially interesting is also the unusual border frame. Rare and interesting collector’s piece.
