This attractive tapestry shows a rare subject with children and young adults, learning in school devided in boys and girls (escole). The girls on the left hand side learn to embroider and stich, the boys on the right hand side have to study mathematics and money administration. The uncommon tapestry shows scenes of the daily and intimate life of the wealthy flemish families in this periode.
